Ken’s Kash Market is looking to hire a Cashier.
We need a Cashier who will represent Ken’s Kash Market’s standard to provide exceptional customer service.
Our Cashier will be responsible for handling payment and customer service for our valued customers. They will ensure that all transactions are accurate, timely, and completed with excellent customer service. Full-time and part-time roles are available.
Primary Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide friendly customer service throughout their visit
- Follow established company and store policies and procedures
- Process transactions quickly and accurately, including cash, credit card, and other payment methods
- Maintain accurate cash drawers and ensure that all transactions are properly recorded
- Answer customer questions about store products, prices, and availability
- Manage inventory and ensure that it is well-stocked and organized
- Keep the checkout area clean and organized
- Provide feedback to bakery staff about customer preferences and sales trends
- Assist with other bakery duties as needed, such as packaging baked goods or helping customers select items
Qualifications and Expectations
The desired candidate for this position should possess a high school diploma or GED, Alternatively, we welcome applicants with a combination of education, experience, and training that equips them with the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities outlined below:
- Basic math skills used for making change
- 10-key skills
- Ability to interpret policies and procedures
- Excellent organization and planning skills
- Excellent communication skills, including verbal and listening skills
- Ability to accept feedback and be accountable for your own success as well as the success of your team
- Make logical decisions using general, recognized skills and techniques
