Our joint location of FiiZ and the Oakley Roasting Company needs a General Manager to provide the ongoing leadership that will launch this exciting new location! We are offering a generous signing bonus as an incentive to help us launch our grand opening in June!

We are looking for an experienced General Manager who is qualified and committed to leading the success of a popular and fast-growing franchise location. We are hiring a General Manager for our location in Oakley and one to lead our Kamas location.

Our General Manager will manage the overall operation of the store. You will supervise and direct the team, make staffing decisions (i.e., hiring, training, evaluating, disciplining, discharging, staffing and scheduling), ensure customer satisfaction and product quality, manage the store’s financial performance, and manage safety and security within the store.

Primary Duties

  • Set goals for the store/team and be a leader of culture and performance 
  • Challenge and inspire the team to achieve business objectives 
  • Provide team members with coaching, feedback, and developmental opportunities 
  • Drive the implementation of company programs by developing action plans and directly motivating and instructing the store team to meet organizational objectives 
  • Lead with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promote the culture, values, and mission of FiiZ 
  • Plan, identify, communicate, and delegate appropriate responsibilities and practices to team members to ensure a smooth flow of operations 
  • Provide coaching and direction to the store team to achieve operational goals 
  • Constantly review store environment and key business indicators to identify problems, concerns, and opportunities to improve by providing coaching and direction to the store team to achieve goals 

 

Qualifications and Expectations

The ideal candidate for the position of General Manager should possess a high school diploma or GED, along with proven expertise in overseeing food service establishments. Alternatively, we welcome applicants with a combination of education, experience, and training that equips them with the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities outlined below:

  • Minimum of two years experience in food service P&L management, accompanied by a minimum of four years of comprehensive restaurant industry experience. 
  • Entrepreneurial mentality with a willingness to roll up sleeves and chip in where needed
  • Ability to stay calm during periods of high volume or stress and manage smooth transitions thereafter to keep store operating to standard and to set a positive example for the store team.
  • Be product-minded, customer-minded, people-minded, detailed, forward focused and consistent
  • Ability to accept feedback and be accountable for your own success as well as the success of your team
  • Make logical, significant decisions using general, recognized skills and technique
  • Lead with integrity, a positive attitude, be mission-driven, and be self-directed with a demonstrated passion for our mission and commitment to working collaboratively
  • Graduation from a Food Service Management or Culinary program preferred and may substitute for a portion of job experience requirements

Looking for a Team Lead who will represent the FiIZ standard to provide customers with prompt service, quality beverages and maintain a clean and comfortable store environment. Our Mixologists have awesome social skills and love to meet new people.

Team Leads complete the following duties:

  • Lead shifts making sure customers get a fast, accurate, friendly experience every visit
  • Provide leadership to the team ensure great quality, service and cleanliness to customers
  • Plan each shift, monitor performance during the shift, take action to ensure the team is meeting FiiZ standards, monitor safety, security, and profitability, and communicate with the next shift Team Lead to help prepare him/her to run a great shift, too

 

Previous leadership experience is preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail or hospitality environment. We’re looking for positive team players with a flexible schedule who like to have fun, with the passion to work in a dynamic environment. You must be 18 years or older to be a Team Lead.
